Wayne Memorial Receives Stuffed Animals from Blanton Grove Church of God

Jesup - Pastor Olin Greer and his wife, Stacia (right) of Blanton Grove Church of God recently donated numerous stuffed animals as a church outreach program to Wayne Memorial Hospital to give to pediatric patients. The animals will be given to the youngest patients at WMH, upon parent’s approval, to help make the hospital stay more enjoyable. “We are always interested in ways to help our community,” said Pastor Greer. “We want the children and parents to know someone is thinking of them and praying for their recovery.” According to WMH Pediatrics’ Nurse Robin Lewis (pictured left) the parents and children always appreciate the gesture. “We enjoy giving stuffed animals to our patients,” said Lewis. “It’s fun to watch their little faces light-up.”
