WMH Auxiliary Purchases Childbirth Video for the Community
Jesup - Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary provides support and assistance to patients, visitors
and staff at Wayne Memorial Hospital. However, their commitment doesn’t stop there. The
Auxiliary also works to help the entire community through various projects and programs
throughout Wayne County. One way the Auxiliary recently helped out the hospital and the future
parents of the community was by providing a new educational DVD on the birthing process
called Understanding Birth. Pictured (l-r): The Auxiliary’s Immediate Past-President Elise
Johnson and President Mark Grimes presented the Childbirth DVD during a free community
childbirth class to Wayne Memorial Hospital’s Childbirth Educator Helen Raczkowski RNC,
BSN, CIMBE, IBCLC. The free childbirth series of classes are held at Wayne Memorial
Hospital on a regular basis. For more information on the classes, contact the WMH Education
Department at 912-530-3118.
