Jesup - Wayne Memorial Hospital recently held a retirement reception for Linda Nix, RN, who worked on the medical unit for 20 years. Numerous friends and co-workers attended the reception sponsored by the hospital. Nix received a plaque, a monetary gift, and a local restaurant gift certificate during the celebration. “Linda has always been a tremendous asset to our organization,” hailed WMH Chief Nursing Officer Annette Kirksey. “We will miss Linda and wish her all the best on this new adventure in her life.” Nix says she plans to do some traveling to bluegrass and gospel festivals as well as fishing with her husband.
