Wayne Memorial Receives Stuffed Animals from Blanton Grove Church of God
 Jesup - Pastor Olin Greer and his wife, Stacia (right) of Blanton Grove Church of God recently donated numerous stuffed animals as a church outreach program to Wayne Memorial Hospital to give to pediatric patients. The animals will be given to the youngest patients at WMH, upon parent’s approval, to help make the hospital stay more enjoyable.

Wayne Memorial Receives Digital Mammography Accreditation
Jesup, GA – Wayne Memorial Hospital recently received notice it has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in Mammography Imaging Services as the result of a recent survey by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR, headquartered in Virginia, awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice. Evaluations are conducted by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field. They assess the qualifications of the personnel and the adequacy of the facility equipment. The surveyors report their findings to the ACR’s Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with a comprehensive report. Two WMH Rehabilitation Nurses Receive National Wound Care Certifications
 Jesup, GA - Wayne Memorial Hospital has always known about the importance of wound care and in fact, added a physician-based wound care program to its rehabilitation center a little over a year ago. Now, hospital and rehabilitation management decided to go a step further to expand the wound care services offered at Wayne Memorial by sponsoring the “wound care certification” of two current registered nurses on the rehabilitation staff....
